The adult enters first.
A responsible adult confirms their own email and opens the household before we ask for a student’s private information.
A word for the parents
Your student should feel that they have entered a remarkable world, while you should be able to see who is responsible, what the rules are, and which parts are genuinely ready.
The Passage · Our family joining process
THS gives the student a real social identity without asking a parent to surrender the responsibilities that come with raising them. The sequence is intentionally a little slower than clicking “I agree,” which is precisely the point.
A responsible adult confirms their own email and opens the household before we ask for a student’s private information.
Each eligible student is invited into a distinct identity, because borrowing a parent login is neither private nor particularly secure.
We review homeschool eligibility, and both parent and student read and accept the relevant terms before youth access can be approved.
Completing the joining process establishes eligibility. A room or programme opens separately when its hosts, supervision, and participation arrangements are ready.
Your family’s information
Parents need enough information to make good decisions, and students deserve care in how their information is used. We explain both responsibilities in the policies and show the relevant approvals in your private family account.
Before any event opens
A published event can state the audience, eligibility, public location, schedule, registration arrangements, available places, cost, and approved safety facts. The invitation also explains which details are still to be confirmed, so you can decide with a clear understanding of the arrangements.
THS is rooted in Christian conviction and aims to be known by its hospitality, service, dignity, and regard for every person in the room. Gatherings with explicit faith content are labeled plainly, because families should not have to infer it.
Not necessarily. Each event states whether it is public, discounted for members, or reserved for members. The Winter Formal does not require Society membership, and its event page carries the arrangements for that evening.
Verification documents are not being accepted yet. We will invite families to submit them once the approved policies explain how they are checked, who may see them, and when they are deleted.
The public policy library shows every governing document and whether it is approved or still in preparation. Operational drafts are labeled as drafts, and no draft is presented for consent.
The simple version
Begin with the policies, then inspect each invitation on its own merits. We would be pleased to earn your trust in that order.
