A black-tie evening of music, dancing, and new friendships for homeschool students in grades 9 to 12. Three themes are proposed. Ticket holders will choose the one that brings the evening to life.

This is the night to go all the way. Your January 9 portrait deserves the full look.
Suit required.
A suit is the minimum. Tuxedos are welcome. No jeans, shorts, cutoffs, or casualwear.
Think: polished, intentional, ready for the portrait.Floor-length gowns.
Long formal dresses are expected, with event-appropriate necklines, bodices, backs, slits, and sheer sections.
Questions are handled privately before the event, never at someone’s expense.“This is a classy ball, not the club.”

Behavior that can result in removal
Staff may warn, separate, or immediately dismiss a student depending on severity. Parents must remain reachable and retrieve a dismissed student promptly.

- Alcohol, tobacco, vaping products, drugs, or weapons of any kind
- Leaving before authorized pickup or entering restricted areas
- Sexually explicit, destructive, disruptive, or otherwise unsafe behavior
- Refusing instructions from event staff, security, or law enforcement
Serious incidents may be referred to law enforcement. Final language appears in the signed agreement before purchase.

01Do I need a date?+
No. Bring a date, bring a friend, come with a group, or arrive ready to meet people. Single and pair tickets are both available.
02Do I need to join the Society first?+
No. The Winter Formal is an open event for eligible students. Society membership is not required.
03Who can attend?+
Current homeschool students in grades 9 through 12. Every attendee completes an individual registration, including guests on a pair ticket.
04Where is it?+
The location is a surprise in Dallas-Fort Worth. Ticket sales help shape the size of the venue and the night. Ticket holders will receive the final location and arrival details before the event.
05Are tickets on sale?+
Yes. Single and pair tickets are on sale now at the founding price through October 31, 2026, then at the standard price through December 31. Checkout is on this site, in about a minute.
06How formal is formal?+
Gentlemen wear at least a suit, and tuxedos are welcome. Ladies wear floor-length formal gowns. Dress up, bring your people, and get ready for your portrait.
