THS Membership Terms

1. Your agreement with DotWin LLC

The Homeschool Social (THS) is owned and operated by DotWin LLC in Texas, United States. These documents take effect on September 14, 2026. They apply to THS.social, the private Society and THS-operated activities. A feature is available only when it is offered in the application; publication of these policies does not promise that every programme or region is open.

An adult of at least 18 who has authority for the household enters this agreement by affirmatively accepting it. A student receives a separate age-appropriate participation notice and conduct rules. A child does not personally guarantee payment, waive legal rights or bind a business merely by using THS.

2. Who may participate

Youth Society seats are for verified homeschool students aged 13 through 17, linked to an authorised parent or guardian. Under-13 children do not receive youth accounts or direct social access. Public family events may have different clearly stated eligibility. At 18, youth access ends; entry to the separate adult Chronicle requires the adult’s own agreement and choices.

Keep identity, age, guardian authority and contact details accurate. Use your own account and protect sign-in links. Tell us promptly about unauthorised access or an authority change. Payment alone does not establish eligibility or override a safety restriction.

3. Membership and availability

Society membership is $39 per household per month or $390 per household per year in US dollars, with up to three eligible students. The checkout identifies the billing interval, total, any applicable tax and recurring nature before purchase. Extra seats require a separately agreed arrangement; they are not added or charged automatically.

Membership covers the features described in the offer at purchase. Event tickets, travel, meals, third-party services and Future Entrepreneurs are separate unless expressly included. No particular friendship, local group, event, educational result, business income or uninterrupted availability is guaranteed. THS is not a school, childcare provider, medical service or emergency response service.

4. Recurring billing and cancellation

By confirming a recurring purchase, the billing adult authorises Stripe to charge the disclosed amount at the selected interval until cancellation. No paid trial or new fee begins merely because a family requests an invitation. We do not purchase additional products for you without a separate agreement.

Cancel renewal through the billing portal linked from the guardian account, or email our contact before the next renewal. Cancellation is effective at the end of the paid period unless you request immediate account closure. We will acknowledge a support cancellation request and honour its received date if a technical issue prevents portal use. Cancellation does not erase an outstanding legitimate charge or a payment dispute.

We give at least 30 days’ notice of a renewal price increase. It applies no earlier than the first renewal after that notice, with a clear opportunity to cancel. A shorter statutory notice or mandatory consumer right is never displaced by this agreement.

5. Refunds and service changes

For the first membership purchase, a guardian may request a full refund within seven days if no paid member event or separately charged programme has been used. Later periods are generally not prorated when the family chooses to cancel, except where law requires a refund or we agree otherwise. This does not restrict remedies for an unauthorised charge, misrepresentation or a service we fail to supply.

If DotWin LLC permanently ends the paid membership service or ends a household’s paid access for a reason other than a substantiated material breach, we refund the unused prepaid membership period. A safety hold is reviewed individually; it is not an automatic forfeiture of all prepaid fees. We explain the decision and appeal route.

Each ticket states its cancellation, transfer and refund terms before purchase. If THS cancels an event without providing a substitute the buyer accepts, the buyer may receive a refund of the event price. Refunds return to the original payment method where practicable; banking processing times vary.

6. Future Entrepreneurs and student work

Future Entrepreneurs is an application-led programme with a stated investment of $7,500. An invitation to apply is not acceptance. The guardian must receive and sign the particular scope, deliverables, schedule, payment plan and cancellation terms before an obligation arises. Scholarship evidence and authorisation are recorded separately. No ownership share, equity, personal guarantee or revenue commitment arises without a separate express agreement from someone legally able to make it.

Students retain rights in their original work, subject to rights in material they use with permission. You give DotWin LLC a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process and display submitted material only to provide the requested service, review, moderation, backup and lawful retention. Public use requires the relevant explicit permission. We do not take ownership of a student’s business or use private student work in advertising through these terms.

7. Participation, safety and outside services

Follow the Conduct Covenant, event instructions and guardian approval requirements. Each event identifies its actual supervision and arrival and departure arrangements. Neither membership nor an online conversation authorises a private adult-to-minor meeting. Transport, medical treatment and a particular trip require their own arrangements; these terms do not give blanket permission.

THS may remove content, limit access or suspend an activity while reviewing a report. We explain material decisions when it is safe and lawful, provide a way to challenge them and use proportionate restrictions. We cannot promise that misconduct will never occur. Report urgent danger to 911 rather than waiting for a message to THS.

An independently operated external website, venue or provider has its own terms and privacy practices. We identify a separate provider when relevant and do not treat a link as a guarantee. Guardians decide whether to use an optional external service.

8. Responsibility and rights

Each party is responsible for its own unlawful acts and material breach. We use reasonable care in providing the service. Nothing here releases DotWin LLC from gross negligence, wilful misconduct, fraud, legally nonwaivable duties or liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude. These terms contain no blanket parental release of a child’s personal-injury claim, mandatory arbitration or class-action waiver.

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is responsible for indirect business losses that were not reasonably foreseeable. This does not exclude direct refunds, statutory consumer remedies, personal injury, a breach of confidentiality or data-protection obligations. We do not require a family to indemnify us for our own conduct.

9. Texas law and disagreements

Texas law governs this agreement, without depriving consumers or minors of protections that must apply where they live. Please contact DotWin LLC with a concern; we aim to resolve it promptly. If litigation is necessary, a party may use a Texas court with lawful jurisdiction or any other court that applicable consumer law requires to remain available. Small-claims rights, regulatory complaints and emergency court relief are preserved.

10. Changes and electronic records

We retain the policy version and date associated with an affirmative acceptance. You may save this page or ask for a copy. Material changes affecting youth permissions require renewed consent where required; they do not silently rewrite an earlier signed programme agreement. Continued use alone is not substitute consent for a new sensitive-data purpose.

If one provision cannot be enforced, the remainder continues to the extent lawful. This agreement, the incorporated privacy and participation documents and the specific offer accepted form the membership agreement. Event-specific or programme-specific terms govern their own purchases; a conflict does not erase a mandatory legal right.
