THS Conduct Covenant

1. Draft status and purpose

This is an operational draft and is not yet effective. It applies to students, guardians, guests, hosts, organizers, volunteers, contractors, and staff in THS digital spaces and THS-operated activities, with age-appropriate responsibilities for each role.

THS aims to practice Christian commitments to dignity, truth, hospitality, service, courage, and care. Mystery belongs in the ceremony and visual world. Safety rules, supervision, eligibility, costs, and reporting never stay secret.

2. Make room with dignity

• Welcome people without popularity tests, hazing, humiliation, coercion, or pressure to prove belonging.
• Do not bully, harass, threaten, stalk, shame, gang up on, or target someone based on identity, belief, disability, appearance, family, background, or another protected or personal characteristic.
• Respect a clear no, a request for space, a block, and physical or conversational boundaries.
• Disagree with ideas without attacking, isolating, or demeaning the person.

3. Protect minors and private information

• No grooming, sexual solicitation, sexualized discussion directed at a minor, exploitative imagery, requests for intimate content, or efforts to move a student into hidden contact.
• No doxxing or sharing a home address, routine location, private venue, phone number, email, verification evidence, medical information, or another person's private messages without approved authority.
• No account sharing, impersonation, age deception, secret recording, screenshot harassment, or attempts to bypass guardian, host, moderation, or age controls.
• Do not promise secrecy to a student about abuse, danger, prohibited contact, or a serious safety concern.

4. Keep rooms and conversations constructive

• Post in the room that fits the topic and age rules. Do not spam, manipulate engagement, derail a hosted session, or flood a member with unwanted contact.
• Do not post graphic violence, pornography, sexual content, instructions for serious wrongdoing, malicious code, scams, or content that promotes self-harm or harm to others.
• Give credit, do not plagiarize, and do not present another person's work, business, or identity as your own.
• Faith questions and convictions are welcome in properly labeled spaces. Coercion, condemnation aimed at a person, or using spiritual language to control another member is not welcome.

5. Host and meetup rules

A student host works from an approved plan in an assigned, supervised room. Hosting does not grant access to raw family contacts, private evidence, or unrestricted participant data.

No student-created THS meetup becomes official through a post or group message. A digital or in-person gathering needs approval, named adult coverage, the correct age band, a roster, location controls, and an emergency plan before it is published.

6. Event conduct

• Follow check-in, pickup, re-entry, restricted-area, dress, accessibility, transportation, and host instructions published for the event.
• No weapons, illegal drugs, alcohol, tobacco, vaping products, fighting, unwanted physical contact, property damage, or dangerous stunts.
• Do not leave an approved area or arrange unauthorized transportation or pickup.
• Event staff may remove a person or contact a guardian, venue security, emergency services, or law enforcement when reasonably necessary for safety.

7. Report, block, and get help

Report concerning content or behavior from the closest available report control. A member may also block another member. Retaliation, witness pressure, false evidence, or attempts to discover a reporter's identity are prohibited.

Use emergency services and a trusted adult for immediate danger. A THS report is important, but it is not a substitute for urgent local help.

8. Responses and review

THS may preserve evidence, remove content, separate people, limit a feature, cancel hosting privileges, remove a person from an event, suspend access, or terminate participation. The response should consider severity, immediacy, pattern, age, intent, impact, cooperation, and safety needs.

Urgent protection may happen first. When safe and lawful, the affected guardian and student receive a reason category and a review path. No payment, title, Chapter role, popularity, or family connection exempts a person from the covenant.
