Student Participation Agreement

1. Draft status and who this covers

This is an operational draft and is not yet effective. It applies to the named student and the exact guardian decision attached to that student's seat.

The private youth community is intended for verified homeschool students who are at least 13 and under 18. A student must use their own seat and their verified age lane.

2. What the student may do

Depending on what has actually launched and the student's eligibility, THS may offer supervised Circles, text discussions, interest discovery, structured introductions, hosted digital sessions, approved in-person gatherings, service activities, and learning or business-building programs.

A recommendation is an invitation to an age-appropriate room or activity, not a popularity score, a dating match, or a promise of friendship. The student may change stated interests, hide a recommendation, or ask for another option.

3. Safety boundaries

• No open one-to-one direct messages, anonymous posts, disappearing content, unreviewed live streaming, or public student profiles in the first release.
• No adult and student private channel. Purpose-bound rooms have assigned adult stewardship and age rules.
• A student may suggest a meetup or session but may not publish or run an unsupervised THS gathering. Approval, adults, roster, and an emergency plan are required.
• Exact private venue information and family contact details may not be copied, forwarded, posted, or used outside the approved purpose.
• A student may report or block even when their account is otherwise restricted.

4. Student promise

The student agrees to be truthful, protect private information, follow age and room boundaries, respect other members, use constructive disagreement, obey host and event instructions, and ask an adult for help when a situation feels unsafe.

The student will not bully, threaten, groom, sexually exploit, shame, doxx, impersonate, cheat, arrange unsafe contact, share credentials, defeat safeguards, or encourage another person to hide activity from a guardian or safety staff. The Conduct Covenant gives the complete shared standard.

5. Guardian permission and visibility

The guardian approves the student's account and the data use described in the current Privacy Notice. Event tickets, waivers, medical information, transportation, media permission, travel, and pickup rules are separate and are presented when relevant.

The guardian receives identity, consent, payment, event, and safety visibility permitted by their exact authority. Ordinary access is not a transcript of every conversation. Authorized safety staff may review the minimum necessary content when a report or legal duty requires it.

6. Reports and emergencies

Students should use the in-context report and block tools for concerning content or contact. Reports are not public, and THS will limit the reporter's identity to people who need it for review or safety, but confidentiality cannot be guaranteed when disclosure is needed to protect someone or comply with law.

THS is not an emergency service. If someone may be in immediate danger, contact emergency services and a trusted adult first, then use THS reporting tools when safe to do so.

7. Consequences and repair

THS may remove content, narrow access, remove a person from an event, require a repair step, suspend a seat, or end participation. Serious or urgent risk may require immediate action before full review.

When safety and law allow, the guardian and student receive a reason category and a way to request review. THS does not use public shame, public discipline histories, or child leaderboards as punishment.

8. Turning 18 or leaving

Youth access ends rather than silently converting at age 18. A separate adult or alumni service may be offered only with a new agreement and a deliberate transition.

A guardian may end permission and a student may ask to stop participating. Account closure and data requests follow the Privacy Notice, including lawful safety and retention exceptions.
