Guardian Authority Agreement

1. Exact guardian authority

The Homeschool Social (THS) is owned and operated by DotWin LLC in Texas, United States. These documents take effect on September 14, 2026. They apply to THS.social, the private Society and THS-operated activities. A feature is available only when it is offered in the application; publication of these policies does not promise that every programme or region is open.

By accepting for the named student, I confirm that I am at least 18 and have legal authority to make the stated decision as the student’s parent, legal guardian or other documented authorised representative. A shared name, household or payment card does not establish that authority.

2. Accurate information and changes

I will provide accurate identity, age, homeschool and relationship information, disclose a court order or restriction that materially affects my authority, and promptly report a relevant change. THS may request proportionate evidence and suspend a disputed permission while reviewing it.

I will not impersonate another guardian, claim authority I do not hold or invite an ineligible child into a youth seat. Each student must use a separate account. I remain responsible for the purchases I expressly authorise, but do not accept unspecified future charges.

3. Separate permissions

Identity management, access to private records, participation, purchases, event decisions and publication are separately recorded capabilities. Agreeing to this document does not automatically approve a particular event, trip, medical procedure, photograph, public website, contract or contact disclosure. A new purpose requires the permission specified for it.

I will review the Membership Terms, Privacy Notice, Student Participation Agreement and Conduct Covenant with the student. I understand what information an authorised guardian can view and that reporter identities or another family’s private information may be withheld for safety and law.

4. Supervision and emergencies

I will maintain a reachable adult contact and follow each event’s stated supervision, arrival and collection arrangements. I will tell the organiser about an access or safety accommodation through the designated private channel. THS is not an emergency service or a substitute for the supervision expressly required of me for an activity.

No general medical authorisation or waiver of the student’s nonwaivable rights is created by this agreement. In an apparent emergency, staff may seek emergency assistance as law permits and share the minimum relevant information.

5. Withdrawal and disputed authority

I may withdraw a permission or ask to revoke my guardian link through the account or contact below. Affected youth access pauses if required authority is missing. Removing one guardian does not invent authority for another; an appropriate replacement must be verified.

At 18 the former student controls adult participation and privacy decisions. My previous link does not authorise access to their new adult records. Statutory rights and valid court orders continue to govern any exception.
